Entry fee - $10.00 (includes lunch)

Directions for Laser Regattas

Skippers meeting 10:00am

American YC- New England Thruway (I-95) (traveling NORTH or SOUTH) Take Exit 19 (Playland Parkway). At first light turn right onto Milton Road. Follow Milton Road to a blinking light and take a left onto Stuyvesant Avenue. Follow to the last club at the end of Stuyvesant.

I-287 EASTFollow signs for I-95 South. 
Take exit 19 and proceed as above.

Babylon YC- Route 231 south to Route 27A east (Montauk Highway). Make right turn onto Eaton Lane, proceed to Yacht Club. Click Babylon Yacht Club for website

Bayberry YC- Bayberry Yacht Club is in Islip. Montauk Hgwy west, to Islip. Make a left (south) on Ocean Ave. to end. Left on Elder Rd. (East) then Right on Beech Rd.Yacht Club is on your right. Bay Shore YC- Route 27 (Sunrise Highway) to Robert Moses Causeway South (trailers and cartopped boats are allowed on the Causeway ONLY south of Rte. 27). Exit on 27A (Montauk Highway) eastbound. Turn right at Concourse West (look for gazebo and canal), turn right at W. Shore Drive. Yacht Club at end. Contact club at: 665-9518.

Bellport YC- LIE to exit 64, south onto Rte 112 then go East on Montauk Highway 27A, to Station Rd. Turn right (South) on to Bellport Lane. Go to end. Click http://bellportyc.org/ for website.

Breakwater YC - LIE east to exit 70. South on Eastport Manor Rd. to Rte. 27. East on Sunrise highway to Bridgehampton. Left on Sag Harbor Tpke 114 to Sag Harbor. Right at the end onto Bay Street. Centerport YC- LIE to Exit 51 North.  North on Deer Park Rd and just past the Northern State Parkway overpass, bear left at fork continuing on Deer Park Rd toward Greenlawn.  Follow Deer Park Rd which ends at Jericho Turnpike (route 25).  Cross over Jericho Tnpk  onto Park Av.  At first traffic light, turn right onto Broadway-Greenlawn and follow for several miles through Greenlawn village.  Cross over railroad tracks (road becomes Centerport Road) continue to Route 25A.  Cross over 25A, (E. Main St) onto Little Neck Rd.  Go past 3 stop signs.  At top of hill, turn right onto Morahopa Rd to Stop sign.  Bear left at stop sign onto Beach Plum Dr and continue down hill to our parking lot.

Cold Spring Harbor BC- Rte. 25A to Cold Spring Harbor at firehouse turn north on to Shore Rd. Bear left around gasoline docks, club on left. Contact: Lindsey Hewitt 692-4798

Devon YC - LIE east to exit 70.,South on Eastport Manor Rd. to Rte. 27. Left on Sunrise highway, east through Easthampton to Amagansett. Oyster Bay Sailing Center- Take the Northern State / Grand Central Parkway to Exit 35N, Route 106/107 North or take the Long Island Expressway (I495) to Exit 41N, Route 106/107 North.Follow Route 106 North for 6.5 miles crossing over Route 25A and proceed into downtown Oyster Bay. Turn left onto Audrey Avenue (Coin Galleries of Oyster Bay is on corner). Proceed on Audrey Avenue thru one traffic light and one stop sign. At second stop sign turn right over railroad tracks into Theodore Roosevelt Park. Turn immediately left onto West End Ave (before park entrance booth). The Waterfront Center and the Oyster Bay Sailing School are located in the red brick building at the end of the road on the left side. Old Cove YC – From east or west follow the Main Road (Route. #25) into the center of Cutchogue.
At the traffic light by the Capitol One Bank, turn south onto New Suffolk Avenue on corner. Drive about 3/4 mile past the Cutchogue Fire Station and the peach orchards. The 1st road on the left should be Old Harbor Road. Proceed very slowly to the end of the road. During regattas traffic is directed in an orderly fashion and parking is often at the top of the hill or the 1/2 way point of the road in a large field on the right.

Sea Cliff Yacht Club- LIE to Glen Cove Road North (Exit 39N), stay on Glen Cove Road all the way to end, bearing left at the fork. Turn left at the Glen Cove Fire Department. At second traffic light,(Boy's Club on left) make a right onto Shore Road. After three marinas, Shore Road turns into The Boulevard. Yacht Club is on the right, at 42 The Boulevard. Memorial Day to Labor Day- From Shore Road, Make first left at one-way sign, Carpenter Avenue.(going up hill). Make second right onto Cliff Way (going downhill). Seawanhaka Corinthian YC- LIE to exit 41N, Rte.106 (Oyster Bay) 11 miles. Left on Lexington (Hess Station), left on Main St., becomes Shore Rd. Just after drawbridge turn right onto Harbor rd., then right onto Bayville Ave. to Centre Island. Go past police booth- Obey the speed limit - drive south, left onto Seawanhaka Rd. Sayville YC- LIE to exit 62 Rte. 97 Nichols Rd. south to the very end and turn right onto Montauk Hwy 27A. Go to 1st light, and take a left at the CVS on to Gillette Ave.  Go south 1 mile to blinker light. Take this left on to Middle Rd..Go two streets to Boylan Rd,  turn right, and go to the end. Look for the gated entry on the left. Contact: Ted Cremer 631-868-3726. Sebago Canoe Club - BY CAR - Belt Parkway to exit 13 (Rockaway Parkway), follow Rockaway Parkway northwest (runs perpendicular to the Belt Parkway at this point) 1/2 mile, turn left on Avenue M, proceed on Avenue M until it ends at Paerdegat Avenue North, turn left onto Paerdegat Avenue North where the entrance to Sebago Canoe Club is on your right between the Diamond Point Yacht Club and the Paerdegat Athletic Club.

From Flatlands Avenue turn south onto E. 76th Street (Department of Highways building at one corner and a MacDonalds at the other corner),
which becomes Paerdegat Avenue North, -continue 8/10 mile until you reach Sebago -just before the intersection of Paerdegat 13.

From Long Island via LIE with trailer:
Purple Route on google map linked below: from LIE with trailer, LIE (west) to, Van Wyck Expressway, take exit for Belt Parkway towards Verrazano Bridge but instead of taking left merge onto the Belt Parkway - STAY ON CONDUIT, take exit for Linden Blvd (27), turn left onto Pennslyvania Ave, right onto Flatlands, left onto E. 76th St. which will turn into Paerdegat Ave. Sebago is on your right between Diamond Point Yacht Club and the Paerdegat Athletic Club.

From Southern Long Island via 27A with trailer:
Red Route on google map linked below: Good route to follow if you're pulling a trailer from south side of LI - note you'll be on one side of the other of 27A (Conduit of Nassau Exp. - that runs alongside of the Southern State and Belt Parkway) depending on the direction you're going. 27 A turns into Conduit, from Conduit take exit for Linden Blvd (27), turn left onto Pennslyvania Ave, right onto Flatlands, left onto E. 76th St. which will turn into Paerdegat Ave. Sebago is on your right between Diamond Point Yacht Club and the Paerdegat Athletic Club.

Shelter Island YCFrom the North Fork:

Following the Long Island Expressway all the way to the end will bring you onto Rt. 58 in Riverhead. Rt. 58 turns into Rt. 25. Continue all the way to Greenport. In Greenport, notice signs for Shelter Island Ferry!

From the North Ferry to Shelter Island Yacht Club, follow 114 S off the ferry. Go straight the stop sign (do not follow 114). Go straight down Chequit Avenue, we are at the dead end.
From the South Ferry to the Shelter Island Yacht Club:

Follow 114 N across the Island. After you pass the Mobil Gas Station, you will cross a bridge. Follow the signs for 114N. When you start seeing the lines on the road for the North Ferry, look for the tennis courts on Clinton Avenue (they will be on your left). Turn right on Chequit Avenue. Southhampton YC - LIE east to exit 70 go south on East Port Manor Rd. to Rte 27 east to Rte 24 south, 1/4 mile to Rte 27 east (Montauk Hwy), 5 miles to Southampton. Southold YC - From East or West, take Main Road (Rt #25) into Southold.--Turn onto Oaklawn Ave. (Past center of town from the East and before center of town from West)
-Follow Oaklawn past High school and elementary school until intersection with Pine Neck Rd (about 1/2 mile)
-Make a left on Pine Neck Rd and follow until N. Bayview Rd (about 1/4 mile)
-Make a right on N. Bayview and follow until the public beach on your left (about 1/4 mile)
